The RadCAM HD20 can easily be mounted on helmets, race cars, motorcycles, or practically anything that moves! A compact sports video camera that offers a full range of quality and professional features at a realistic price. At the push of a button, you can change from 126 or 170 degree viewing angle or select 25-30fps or 50-60fps for silky smooth slo-mo. It even takes 16MP stills with using its HD 5MP CMOS sensor. 1080P, 720P and WXGA modes are selectable.
Equipped with a high resolution LCD screen, you can easily see and hear how your shot will look and also play back instantly while still in the field. Playback direct to a TV straight from the recorder to a HDTV with the HDMI cable supplied, or download to a PC or Mac using the cables provided.
Powered by a high capacity rechargeable, removable lithium battery,the RadCAM HD20 can be recharged or run directly from the 12 volt or mains charger supplied. Average recording time per battery is around 6-8 hours. The water and dust resistant recorder is made of a tough ABS plastic, making it strong, but light. The
large buttons make it easy to operate, even when wearing gloves. An optional “RaceCase” is also available for fast Velcro strap mounting and protection.
The RadCAM HD20 camera head features a 5 megapixel HD image sensor housed inside a waterproof (IP68) casing. It has an adjustable 126-170 degree field of view high quality lens. The camera connects to the recorder via a tough 2 meter cable with a screw-on connector on the recorder end for mounting flexibility.
A range of standard and optional mounts is available to suit practically any application.
We haven’t forgotten about sound either. Record high quality audio using the inbuilt microphone with automatic wind noise control. Want to use an external microphone or connect to an intercom or radio, then simply plug into the recorder’s external audio port with the microphone or intercom cable supplied. Audio recording levels are fully adjustable.
